The BRIEF & expectations!!

This is a word collage that I put together on Wordles which show words that are relevant to our Thriller genre.

Our Brief is to make the opening to a brand new film, including the title sequence; but NOT the whole film! Our film opening has to portray a Thriller genre, this is done by creating suspense and tension through the storyline, camera work, mise en scene, sound, editing, and so on. However, our film is allowed to have any type of genre, meaning it could be a psychological thriller, a romantic thriller, etc. The opening is suppose to be 2 minutes in length. We are expected to produce a film opening that LOOKS LIKE A FILM OPENING and not something else. We are expected to be able to work with the equipment handed to us, from cameras to editing using a software like Final Cut Pro and Soundtrack Pro, in order to produce a good opening.
