Evaluation of Prelim Exercise

I feel that our Prelim exercise went well. We did put the match cut in the wrong place, however our overall film/project was good on a whole. We do have things to think about for future filming which were highlighted from this exercise, such as framing, but as a group we were able to create a good film and story. We used sound successfully and correctly using Soundtrack Pro - especially with the gunshot at the end, to keep the audience interested. We also put titles up using Final Cut Pro at the beginning of our film, to make it look professional. Our editing and camera skills aren't perfect but we managed to produce a fairly decent film from this exercise, have gained new skills and we feel much more confident about filming the actual thriller opening now because of this.
