What we've learned from filming the prelim exercise

During the filming of the prelim exercise we learnt a number of things:
  • The big thing was not to zoom in for certain parts as it looks amateur and unprofessional.
  • Another thing we learnt was that we should always place the actor/actress within the top section of the image-wire frame.
  • We should cut certain shots to keep the film interesting.
  • Stick to the brief!
  • Framing in the sense that you should keep the shots tight - don't film extra space!
